 Racing and Race Committee Duty Minimize

What CPYC members need to know about Race Committee Commitments!
CPYC has a long-established tradition of excellence in race management. This did not happen by accident. It is the direct result of the involvement of our entire membership. Year in and year out, each member has been expected to serve on at least one race committee, in order to develop his or her race management expertise, as well as to provide the top notch racing that each of us has come to expect.

Initial race committee assignments are established by Race and Regatta. Our best efforts do not result in a schedule that accommodates everyone. When a conflict arises, the assigned member is expected to find another to fill in. By doing your part, you are directly contributing to the continued success of the best racing program on Long Island Sound! We appreciate everyone's efforts.

PLEASE respond positively! Show up on time, and do your assigned day, or, as soon as you know you have a conflict, reach out and find someone in your fleet to replace you. That is your responsibility. Our Club and your fellow members need your support.
