Cedar Point Yacht Club - Junior Sailing Summer Program

      2012 Registration Instructions

Welcome!  Please follow the steps listed below to complete the CPYC Junior Sailing Registration process:

1. JSA REGISTRATION:   The CPYC Junior Sailing program is a member of the Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound (JSALIS).  JSALIS exists to support junior sailing, both through support of the individual yacht club programs and through the facilitation of interclub competition.  It also provides training programs for instructors and sailors.  All participants in the CPYC Junior Sailing Program must complete a waiver form on the JSALIS website.  The waiver provides our instructors with all of the medical and contact information necessary to participate in CPYC activities.  Click on the link below to fill out, or update the online waiver form.

After completing the online form on the JSALIS site, click “I Agree”, click “Print Copy” for your records and then click “Done” to show the Waiver ID Number that was assigned to your child.  You will need to fill in this waiver ID on the CPYC Application form.  Your CPYC registration will not be considered complete without this waiver ID number.

2. CPYC REGISTRATION:  Click on the CPYC Program Application link to the left of these instructions to view the Application Form.

3. PRINT OUT & MAIL APPLICATION:  Print out form, fill in and mail with payment to Karen Myers, Registrar.  Fees, payment details and mailing address are all provided on the Application Form.

4. (Optional) CHARTER INFORMATION:  For information on boats and chartering, please click on the Boat Information and Charter links to the left.

IMPORTANT  NOTE:  Your CPYC Junior Sailing Enrollment is not final until you receive confirmation from Karen Myers, Registrar, who will confirm space in class and suitability of child to selected class.
