CPYC Well Represented at Block Island Race
Jeremy Jablonski won PHRF Class 3 and Overall PHRF Honors; James Coffman won his PHRF Class; and both Adrian Little and Darius Peleda finished 6th in their IRC classes. Congratulations to all!

Continuing his season’s winning streak, Jeremy Jablonski’s Hanse 43, Avanti, won PHRF Class 3, and Overall PHRF Honors, winning the Terrapin Trophy for Best Corrected Time in the entire PHRF fleet.

And in another important CPYC win, James Coffman’s Hanse 375,
Gemini, won her PHRF Class.

Also placing well, Adrian Little’s double-handed, Sunfast 3600,
Helios, and Darius Peleda’s Cape Fear 38, Ragana, both finished 6th in their IRC classes.

The 186 nautical mile race for IRC and PHRF boats is a Memorial Day weekend tradition that starts and finishes off Stamford, Conn., and takes a route around Block Island. This year’s 71st edition hosted ten classes, including an IRC and PHRF class each for double-handed crews, as well as a youth challenge competition.

The race started Friday afternoon, May 27th, and saw 82 entries finishing Saturday evening and on into Sunday morning, with winds varying between super-light, to the mid-to-high-twenties.
