Hurricane Joaquin approaching
Hurricane Joaquin became the 2015 Atlantic season's third hurricane Wednesday morning. Dear CPYC members, in preparation and anticipation for Hurricane Joaquin, we are implementing the Storm Policy pursuant to the House rules.

Dear CPYC members, in preparation and anticipation for Hurricane Joaquin, we are implementing the Storm Policy pursuant to the House rules.  We are taking this opportunity to remind all members that the safety of their boats is their responsibility.  Each member is responsible for securing their boats adequately so as to minimize the possibility of damage to boats, property or others.  It is advised that our basin sailboats remove their sails even if you feel they are securely tied down as they can create a safety hazard if they become undone.  All Drystall boats should be securely tied down to the cement blocks and any boats on racks should also be checked and secured.

We thank you in advance for taking the time to come down to the club to secure your boats and equipment.

The House Governor,

Brian Joyce
